Engine & system requirements

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds runs in the Unreal Engine 4 under the DirectX 11 API. The game has recently received many optimizations through the necessary number of patches, and according to various sources, the optimization has not yet ended. In our benchmarks further on, we'll see how the game actually performs on a variety of hardware. Below we list the system requirements.

System requirements

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds runs on a 64-bit version of Windows at a minimum, and specifically from Windows 7 onwards. In terms of processor, you can already handle it with an older Intel quadcore, or a now dated AMD hexacore. The recommended system requirements for CPUs are not very different from these, although newer CPUs are recommended. As far as video cards are concerned, this involves mainstreaming models from the previous generation as a minimum, as well as mainstreaming models from the current generation for the recommended requirements. As far as storage space is concerned, 30GB is required and recommended, which is relatively little today compared to many other games.
