17 32-inch QHD monitors review: Big size, nice pixels

Surprisingly high quality for surprisingly low prices

Conclusion

The range in 32-inch QHD is large and as far as we're concerned that's great, because not only is this a very attractive combination of size and resolution, there are also no real oldtimers in this extensive test field. Of course, all value for money, but the fact that you can take home an excellent monitor with these features for less than 300 pounds was unimaginable a few years ago.

Of course we have a few models that really stand out. If you really don't want to spend a penny too much, you don't have to look beyond the AOC Q3279VWF. It offers much better performance than you might expect for the money, although you should of course take some rough edges into account. If you want to invest more, the Benq EW3270ZL and the Iiyama ProLite XB3270QS re both excellent choices. The first is marginally more expensive, but offers significantly better uniformity and contrast; the second is very complete (including ergonomic foot) and has extremely good color rendering. All three receive a Great Value award. This is also the case for the Philips 328P6AUBREB: although not the cheapest model in the test, for a screen with AdobeRGB and HDR support, its price is definitely not a cent too high - certainly not in view of the perfectly reasonable test results, although we would have preferred Philips to have had some better adjustment from the factory.

If you have more to spend and higher demands, the Benq PD3200Q is our favourite for serious image processing. An Excellent Choice award is definitely deserved. This is also the case for the Samsung S32D850T, which is quite an achievement given the age of this screen.

Lastly, gaming. With the AG322QCX AOC actually offers everything you want, for a significantly lower price than the competition. Although the results are not of the highest level, they are more than sufficient. A Great Value Award is appropriate for this screen. If you want the best of the best in QHD gaming, you have two choices: G-sync and non-curved? The LG 32GK850G is there for you. Freesync, HDR and curved? Then the Samsung C32HG70 is the one for you. Both receive an Excellent Choice Award.
