As of the latest version, PCMark 7 is also able to show so-called Raw scores. These scores exclude the idle time within the traces of the different test components. As a result, the real performance differences between SSDs are visible much more clearly, just as used to be the case for PCMark Vantage. In other words, the Raw scores can basically be interpreted as the performance deltas between different SSDs for each of the workloads, whereas the normal scores of the previous pages correlate with how you would experience this in practice.
It is even more apparent that Samsung has the upper hand in the Raw test.
