Power consumption without load
The stealth consumption of modern power supplies is good to excellent for basically every model. With the power button switched off most power supplies do not consume any power whatsoever, while the highest measured 0.15 watts with the Antec Edge 750 watt is still very low. With the power supply turned 'on', we see a small power consumption with every power supply, but we are talking about less than 0.2 watts for nearly every power supply. Products that stand out in a negative way are the tested EVGA power supplies which consume up to 0.4 watts, as well as the Antec Pure Power 10 700W which shows the worst result with 0.6 watts. In absolute sense this is still a very low power consumption, which corresponds to a debit of about 1 pound on a yearly basis.
