Gaming: response time and input lag

The AOC Q2790PQU, I2490PXQU and I2790PQU are not at all gaming-monitors, so we only show the combined rise- and fall-times in the standard mode and with optimal overdrive-settings; on the product pages you can always find all of the sub- and detailed measurements.

The measurements show that gaming should indeed not be the main purpose of these monitors: in standard mode the used panels are not very fast; with maximum overdrive the overshoot is very high - and the speed is still not great. The optimal setting results in usable, but not very special response times. Playing a game every now and then is fine, but for 100% gaming AOC has a nice selection in its Agon-series.

Input lag

Something that is quite nice is the fact that there is no input lag with any of these models: one less obstacle for gaming.
