AMD Radeon RX 550 review: New (entry) card on the block

Not every card is a gamer's card

Additional benchmarks: Gigabyte RX 550 Gaming OC

We also tested the Gigabyte RX 550 Gaming OC on its own merits. The 3DMark Fire Strike score ended up at 3.894 points, just a bit over 1% higher than the RX 550 on reference speeds. Thanks to the 0db mode, the RX 550 Gaming OC is completely quiet while idling, but even under stress the card doesn’t produce a lot of noise. 52 degrees is a good temperature for a card with this low power consumption, silence and adequate cooling seem to be easy-peasy for this card.
