Inno3D GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Single Slot review: flat as a pancake

Uniquely thin, but not without a compromise

The Inno3D GTX 1050 Ti Single Slot is unique. There are no other cards of this type that only use one expansion slot. If you have limited space within your system, and a larger graphics card is not an option, you are left with only one choice. We expect it to be an easy pick for its target users.

To be able to compete, it needs to also perform well. The cooling efficiency is clearly suffering from the fact that the fan is located at the side instead of at the top of the card. The result is that it is both warmer and louder than the fellow 1050 Ti models with a full dual-slot cooler.

If you have the space for a regular GTX 1050 Ti, your choice is the full-size models. The larger cooling area which those have, is only beneficial. If you do not have the space, then the choice is pretty much made for you. It may not an innovative product, but we praise the manufacturer’s efforts in supplying for a niche market segment.
