Project Cars 2 review: benchmarks with 23 graphics cards

Which card do you need for high-octane graphics?

Testresults: Full HD (1920x1080) + frame times

Full HD resolution on medium settings is no problem at all for most of the cards in this test. Even a GTX 760 or RX 560 will get you to at least 60 fps. The fastest GPUs will go far over 200 fps. Ultra settings already pose much more of a challenge, you’ll need at least a mid-range RX 580 or GTX 1060 to get to 60 fps. The game seems to like Nvidia’s offerings more than AMD’s, the RX Vega 64 is only slightly quicker than the GTX 1070 while even the 3GB version of the GTX 1060 manages to outperform the RX 580. Interesting note concerning the AMD line-up is that the Fury X manages less fps than the RX 580 but does give better results when comparing frame times.
