F1 2017 review: tested with 21 graphics cards

What kind of hardware is required for the newest racing game by Codemasters?

Test results: WQHD (2560x1440)

If you want to game at WQHD, you still won't require a very powerful GPU to play on medium settings. On ultra settings this changes and many mid-range cards fall short. The RX 580 achieves 59 fps, while the GTX 1060 achieves 55 fps. A high-end GPU of the previous generation (GTX 980 Ti/Fury X) or a high mid-ranger of this generation (GTX 1070/RX Vega 56) is enough to get (well) over 60 fps.
