X299 overclocking monsters: ASUS ROG Rampage VI Apex vs. MSI X299 XPower Gaming AC

Who offers the best overclocking motherboard for Intel's high-end processors?

By

Extra: Corsair watercooler with MSI XPower

When ordering an MSI X299 XPower Gaming AC you do not only receive the motherboard, but also a Corsair H100i v2 water cooler. If purchased separately it costs about 107 pounds / 120 euros, so this adds quite a bit of value. This second iteration of H100i is a 240mm-radiator equipped with SP120L-fans. This cooler supports Corsair Link, which allows you to change things like the fan speed via software.

At the time of writing web shops do not explicitly state this promotion, but MSI assured us that with every order of the motherboard a water cooler is added. We advise you to check whether or not you will actually receive the cooler with the store of your choice, just to be sure.
