Intel Z370 motherboards round-up: 17 times Coffee Lake

The best motherboards with the Z370-chipset

Internal: Power supply

In comparison with the Z270-generation only ASRock clearly invests in a more extensive power supply. The Z370 Extreme 4 has fourteen power phases, while with the Z270-model we only saw twelve. With the other brands there are not any radically different choices compared with the previous iterations.

Most Z370-motherboards have a power supply that is perfectly capable of supporting a stable 24/7-overclock. With the Gigabyte HD3 and HD3P the chosen components are a little delicate, but the big heatsinks make up for a lot of this. The only board we would not recommend for overclocking is the ASUS TUF Z370-Pro Gaming.
