26 AMD socket AM4 motherboards review: the best boards for Ryzen

Which manufacturer offers the best base for your Ryzen build?

Benchmarks (USB 3.1)

Not all socket AM4 motherboards support USB 3.1 - this is why the graphs are a bit shorter compared to those on the other pages. Despite the fact that the majority of manufacturers opts for ASMedia USB 3.1 controllers, we see fairly large difference between the various boards.

Especially ASUS does not scores well in these tests. This might be due to how the controller is implemented by ASUS, however the scores of about 750 MB/s are not impressive. MSI and ASRock clearly know how to do better and score close to 1GB/s. The models of Gigabyte are somewhere in middle, disregarding a couple of outliers.
