CM Storm: Mizar, Sentinel III en Xornet II

The three mice that Cooler Master sent us are all sold under the CM Storm brand. You can get both the CM Storm Mizar and Sentinel III for about 55 pounds. The Mizar features a light ergonomic shape and four DPI levels, that you can select on the mouse itself. The sides of the Mizar also feature a rubber coating for extra grip. The laser sensor suffers from acceleration.

A nice extra feature of the Sentinel III, which is based on an optical sensor, is the OLED display in the middle of the mouse. Its functionality is rather limited, however you can set it to display an icon of 32 by 32 pixels in order to fully make the mouse yours. The Sentinel performs well in the tests, however it belongs to the larger mice of the test field.

The Xornet II is a special mouse. Due to its small size it resembles a notebook mouse, however it is meant for gamers that use the claw grip, since they don't need any wrist support. The Xornet's price of 28 pounds is also nice and affordable, however the achieved speeds in our tests are not very high. Furthermore, the lift-off distance is very high.
