Hardware.Info SSD Performance Score 2017
Last up, the Hardware.Info SSD Performance Score 2013-2015. This score is determined by taking the geometric mean of the most important benchmarks (AS SSD, Iometer 4k R/W, Iometer seq. R/W, PCMark 7, PCMark 8, and both continuous activity tests) and normalizing it, so that the best performing SSD from our last mega round-up (the OCZ Vector 150) has a score of 100 points.
The Samsung 960 Pro is officially the fastest SSD, followed by the Intel 750-series and their own 960 Evo. If we leave out the professional tests, the 960 Evo also surfaces with very good performance in workloads based on consumer use. The questionable honour for the slowest PCIe-SSDs go to the Plextor M8Se, Intel 600p and WD Black PCIe. In the case of the latter, we know SATA-SSDs that are faster.
