Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Mini
For their miniature version of the GTX 1080 Ti, Zotac developed a special PCB that is even shorter than the complete graphics card. We find an eight-phase power supply and GDDR5X memory chips of Micron. The power is supplied using two eight-pin connectors. The VRMs are connected with the aluminium heatsink using a separate heatsink. The main heatsink has five 6mm-heatpipes that transfer heat. Two relatively big 10 cm-fans are also present.
Despite the limited cooling, Zotac did manage to include a slight factory overclock with their small 1080 Ti. The stated boost speed is 1620 MHz, but in practice the card turns out to boost a lot further - more on that later. The memory has a standard speed of 1376 MHz.
The manufacturer did think about the design as well by adding white lighting to the logo at the top and adding a metal backplate. The Zotac GTX 1080 Ti offers three DisplayPorts aside from HDMI and DVI, which is fairly standard. In the box we find the graphics card, a dvd with the drivers and two adapters from PEG6 to PEG8.
