Phanteks Evolv Shift X review: living room worthy

Mini-ITX reinvented

Test results cooling 100 and 100+100 watt

The second set of the four tests is at a heat production of 100 watt and 100+100 watt. This makes it significantly more difficult for cases to eliminate the heat for the systems.

100 W 12 V case, CPU

At high rotation speed the Evolv Shift X holds up surprisingly well, we measure 34.8 degrees which means it ends up in fifth place.

100+100 W 12 V case, CPU, GPU

Doubling the heat production we see that the Phanteks Evolv Shift X performs slightly worse while the temperature rises to 43.7 degrees – yet this is not that bad. The cpu- and gpu- simulators do become dangerously hot.
