Corsair Neutron NX500 800GB review: new NVMe from the USA

Corsair is trying to compete with the Samsung 960 Pro

Hardware.Info SSD

Last up, the Hardware.Info SSD Performance Score 2017. This score is determined by taking the geometric mean of the most important benchmarks (AS SSD, Iometer 4k R/W, Iometer seq. R/W, PCMark 7, PCMark 8, and both continuous activity tests) and normalizing it, so that the best performing SSD from our last mega round-up (the OCZ Vector 150) has a score of 100 points.

The NX500 ends up at an average score of 206 points in the Performance Score. This is slightly better than the 950 Pro but worse than the 960 Pro. In regards with the Entry Performance Score, where we leave out the 'business' tests, the NX500 scores slightly lower than the 950 Pro with 201 points and ends up in the middle of the pack.
