Gigabyte RX 570 Aorus & RX 580 Aorus XTR
We received two Gigabyte cards, an RX 570 and an RX 580 with an XTR-chip. The Radeon RX 570 Aorus is a relatively simple card with a WindForce 2X-cooler, consisting of two 90mm-fans and a heatsink with four heatpipes. A unique feature is the backplate, which has a copper part that is supposed to help with the heat levels. We find an Aorus-logo and an indicator for the 0dB-mode on the top of the card. Both rgb-leds can be controlled via the software.
The RX 580 Aorus XTR has a big cooler with 100mm-fans and, as the name suggests, uses an XTR-chip which is supposed to yield better results when overclocking. This card has four heatpipes as well. The rgb-lighting is more in-depth with this model, where the cross on the front stands out the most. Of course this card also allows you to choose your effects using the ‘Aorus Graphics Engine’.
You can find the specifications of the two Gigabyte-cards below.
