AMD Radeon RX 570 & RX 580 round-up: Polaris update

10 models of ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and Sapphire tested

Overclocking test

We have overclocked all Radeon RX 580s in this test. For our overclocking test we overclock our used processor to 4.5 GHz. We run 3DMark Vantage, 11, Fire Strike and Fire Strike Extreme on every graphics card at the highest possible stable clock frequencies.

Generally speaking we are able to overclock the 580s with an XTR-chip further than the regular versions, although once again the Sapphire with a regular XTX-chip stands out. We were able to achieve a maximum memory clock of 2250 MHz, 250 MHz faster than the standard speed. Looking at the scores, the XTR-cards and the Sapphire Nitro+ end up above the other 580s.
