AMD Ryzen 5 vs. Intel Core i5 in games: the conclusion

Which CPU is the best choice for gaming?

By

Benchmarks: Doom

Doom is the only Vulkan game in our selection. At Full HD we measure a significant difference between AMD Ryzen and the Core i5, however the FPS values are already so high that we don't really consider the difference to be important. At WQHD the differences are much smaller, however on average Intel performs better slightly.

In the frame times the Ryzen 5 processor does a bit worse compared to the average FPS values.
