12 cases review: Glass House for your pc

Glass panels are quickly becoming cheaper

Sharkoon DG7000-G

Early 2016 Sharkoon managed to surprise us with the BW9000, a complete case with excellent performance at a sharp price. In our opinion, the brand sets a new standard for affordable cases. With the DG7000-G they show that they want to continue their route of aggressive prices for high-end features. This case, that is available in three different internal colours, can be purchased with a tempered glass side panel for a mere 5 pounds premium compared with the standard model. In the most friendly way, we can call it a retro-design, but in terms of functionality there is little to remark. If you so desire the DG7000 also allows you to incorporate 5.25” modules, while there is a lot of internal space for long graphics cards and a large cpu-cooler. We are also happy with four usb connectors.

Sharkoon supplies three fans and pretty good ones at that. The cooling is above average, more than enough for a high-end system, while the noise levels are not that bad. It could be even quieter, but at this price we can forgive a few decibels.
