Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti review (incl. SLI): faster card for the same price

Titan X made obsolete by new GTX 1080 Ti

By

Benchmarks: Far Cry Primal

Far Cry Primal is bottlenecked in Full HD, which leads to the GTX 1080 Ti performing less well than you would expect. At WQHD resolution, it manages to beat the GTX 1080 SLI, while still lagging behind the Titan X (Pascal). In Ultra HD, it is almost as fast as the Titan X (Pascal), while losing to two GTX 1080 cards. Using two GTX 1080 Ti cards in SLI also has relatively little use at lower resolutions. It only manages to be faster at Ultra HD resolution.
