Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti review (incl. SLI): faster card for the same price

Titan X made obsolete by new GTX 1080 Ti

Benchmarks: 3DMark Fire Strike / Extreme / Ultra

We start the tests with 3DMark - which isn't a game, but it's easy enough to run it at home for comparison. The ordinary 3DMark Fire Strike runs at Full HD resolution, compared to WQHD for Extreme and Ultra HD for Ultra. The Graphics Score shows how just the graphics card (and not the system around it) performs. We have not yet run this benchmark on too many 3D-cards.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is just a bit slower than the Titan X (Pascal) in the various tests. The difference is sometimes less than one percent, so it won't be particularly obvious. The card is a lot faster than the GTX 1080, especially in 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra. The benefit of SLI increases at higher resolutins.
