AMD A12-9800 Bristol Ridge APU (socket AM4) review

Sneak peek at new APU series

Benchmarks (GTX 960): GTA V (1920x1080 Medium)

We run GTA V at Full HD on Medium and Ultra settings. Unfortunately the ultra-settings test randomly produces unexplicably low or high results. Repeating the test multiple times had no effect. Values that deviate extremely from what you'd expect should therefore be ignored.

On medium settings, where the system is clearly bottlenecked by the CPU, the A12 offers a slight improvement over older AMD hardware. However even the Skylake Pentium performs better.
