Test results: static efficiency 140mm fans
There are less 'true' static pressure fans in the 140mm segment. Noctua only has separate series for their 120mm fans and they say that both the NF-A14 and the NF-P14 are 'excellent all-rounders' for both airflow and static pressure.
The Antec TrueQuiet 140mm finishes first, however it doesn't perform very well in terms of cooling performance, which is why it's not considered a winner. The true golden medal goes to the Noiseblocker NB-eLoop. The 1200rpm version already was one of the most efficient fans in terms of performance and noise levels in our test back in March 2016, however the fan also seems to perform well in terms of static pressure. Furthermore, fans from Cryorig and NZXT also impress, and Phanteks is also back in the top ten, just like with the 120mm fans.
On average the percentage of airflow that remains after the radiator is significantly higher compared to the 120mm fans. There are also few 140mm fans that perform truly bad. Nevertheless, you might as well buy the most capable fan for your CPU cooler or radiator if you're looking for one in the first place.
