Samsung C24FG70 review: Samsung's gaming monitor comeback

Remarkable monitor convinces with its colour quality

By

Brightness and contrast

We tested the Samsung C24FG70 both in standard mode as well as in sRGB-mode. You can find these results on this page and the next.

The maximum brightness is more than solid, at over 360 cd/m².

The minimum brightness is rather modest at slightly more than 40 cd/m² - you will not be completely blinded in a dark room.

At 150 cd/m², the minimum brightness or the black value is only 0.06 cd/m², clearly lower than with models that have a tn-panel. At maximum brightness this is still only 0.14 cd/m².

However we measure the contrast, the values of the Samsung va-panel are far better than those of the competitors with a tn-panel.
