TP-Link Touch P5 review: touchscreen router

Irresistible to touch

Test results: power consumption

The TP-Link Touch P5 consumes more power when compared to older TP-Link models, which usually stand out because of their limited power usage. There are more components to be driven though. Note that we did these measurements when the screen was turned off. The screen usually turns itself off after a certain amount of time (the standard settings is three minutes). If you choose to keep the screen on continuously, the power consumption will obviously be higher. When the screen is on the Touch P5 consumes about 1 Watt more.
