Everybody will have their own personal preferences. Be sure to take a look at our enormous comparison table or the various smaller tables from the previous pages to find the case fans that are just right for you.
For overclockers who want the best possible cooling, we would primarily recommend the Scythe Ultra Kaze and SilverStone FM121B. The industrial Noctua fan is a little bit too expensive for consumer applications. For those who are after a fan that is as quiet as possible, we find the Be Quiet Pure Wings 2 to be a good and affordable choice. If you'd rather have a fan with a ball bearing, the Noiseblocker M12-2 and the (in our opinion much better looking) NB-eLoop 1300rpm are worth considering.
For those who are looking for an all-round case fan, our efficiency test will be the most interesting. The Enermax Twister Pressure, Noiseblocker NB-eLoop 1300rpm, Enermax T.B.Vegas Quad, and Noiseblocker NB-eLoop 1500rpm are the big winners in this regard.
If you're on a budget, the Scythe Slip Stream 120mm 1200rpm would be a good choice, or the Arctic F12 if you'd rather have a PWM fan. Naturally, these cheaper models do use plain old sleeve bearings.
