Generation Y

Toshiba WT310 (Hardware)

The Toshiba WT310 runs on the Core i5-3339Y, the same Y generation processor that Lenovo used for the Yoga 11s. There's also a less powerful version of called the WT310-10U that instead as a Celeron 847 CPU. It's a slow Sandy Bridge processor.

The Celeron processor is faster than an Atom, but that's about its only claim to fame. The SSD can compensate for the lack of power somewhat, and for basic applications such as Office and browsing the web it's fine, since you do get 4 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD. A Core i3 would have fit well, but in our opinion a Celeron is just too slow.

The rest of the hardware is good. The tablet contains a fast 128 GB Toshiba mSATA SSD and an Intel Centrino 6235 WiFi card that's dual-band and capable of 300 Mbit/s.
