PCMark Vantage is based on the hard drive usage of actual applications, albeit applications from the Windows Vista era. Futuremark uses so-called traces, which are recordings of disk activity of real programmes, and repeats the same activity as quickly as possible in the benchmark. Because traces aren't played back in real time but as fast as possible, performance differences are amplified in PCMark Vantage.
70.625 points is a very good score for a 120/128 GB drive, good for second place below the Samsung 840 Pro. Kingston scores better than the Samsung 840 and the Crucial v4.
