HP Envy 23 TouchSmart Review

All-in-one with touchscreen from the originators

Test results (Cinebench, 3DMark)

Cinebench 10

The Intel Core i5 3330S performs about the same as other quad-core Intel Core i5 CPUs we've recently seen in all-in-ones, even if they're not exactly the same model. They're fast enough for mode demanding applications, but the 4 GB RAM will become a bottleneck.

Cinebench 11.5

The performance of the HP Envy 23 TouchSmart is in line with other systems.

The performance of the AMD Radeon HD 7450 is not very impressive.

3DMark Vantage

Again the AMD GPU is weak.

3DMark11 Entry

3DMark11 tests performance with DirectX 11 video games, and the Entry benchmark is meant for lighter and integrated GPUs.

The HP performs poorly here.

3DMark11 Performance

Performance is the standard benchmark, but it's too much for the HP. There's no reason to run the Extreme test.
