A while ago Apple updated its iMac design, and the 2012 models' main distinction is that they are thinner than their predecessors. We already reviewed the 21.5-inch model, and today it's time for the 27-inch version. It has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, the same WQHD resolution as the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina.
When you look at the 27-inch iMac from the side, it's the same effect as with the smaller version. The sides are thin, but the middle part where the base enters the chassis, the iMac is considerably thicker. From the front it looks the same as previous versions, except that the new one is less shiny.
