Spire Thermax Eclipse III review: big heat pipes

Spire kills the noise with a new version of the Thermax Eclipse

By

Test results noise production

We measure the noise levels at a distance of 10 cm in a sound-proof box. With fans on low we measured 32.9 dB(A). It's not inaudible, but still very quiet. It's a relief compared to the 48.5 dB(A) produced by the Eclipse II. With fans on high we measured 50.4 dB(A), which is average. It's not quiet by a long shot, but it could be worse.
