MSI submitted their Twin Frozr version of the GeForce GTX 680. The Twin Frozr III cooler has three heatpipes, two of which are 8mm thick. It has two fans, and takes up two slots. MSI also overclocked the card a little, with the GPU running five percent faster at 1059 MHz. The 2 GB GDDR5 memory chips run at the standard 1502 MHz, and the PCB is identical to the reference design.

The MSI card turned out to be the quietest of all GTX 680s in this round-up with only 39.4 dB(A), even if there's not a huge difference with the reference cooler. The cooling performance was also very good, with 60 degrees after two benchmark runs of Metro 2033. Only the ASUS card was better.

The average price of the MSI Twin Frozr card is £438.
