Six GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics cards: ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI and Zotac

We compared six GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card

Temperature, audio and energy consumption

Not surprising there is very little difference in the performance of the six cards, but it's a different story for the temperatures and the noise levels.

The five overclocked cards register around 65 degrees on our temperature sensor on the back of the cards, after two benchmark rounds of Metro 2033. When we measure the GPU temperature with GPU-Z, there are more significant differences. The MSI and ASUS cards are the coolest, and the Zotac and EVGA cards are warmer.

The biggest differences are in the noise production. The MSI card is silent with 40.1 dB(A) at a distance of 10 cm. ASUS is the most silent with 36.1 dB(A) and 33.1 dB(A) for the non-Top version. The EVGA and Zotac cards are very noisy.

The energy consumption is about the same for the six cards.
