LG IPS277L-BN review: LG's latest generation IPS monitor

The new flagship IPS display from LG does not disappoint

Test results response time and input lag

Response time is not the best quality of the LG IPS277L-BN, but with overdrive enabled it's sufficient for most games and gamers.

Values below 16 ms are acceptable (1000/60 Hz = about 16.6 ms), below 10 ms very good, and below 5 ms excellent. The 0%-100%-0% measurement (black-white-black) is easier for monitors with overdrive, which is why we put more emphasis on the more challenging 20%-80%-20% measurement (light grey-dark grey-light grey).

We don't have a lot of comparison material for screens that we specifically test on their overdrive performance, but the two fastest until now were the BenQ XL2420T and the Dell Alienware OptX AW2310 screens.
