After the initial steps, the heatpipes are ready to be installed. There are three longer and three shorter ones. By changing where you attach the holders on the side, you can change the positioning somewhat.

Six heatpipes in total run to the CPU socket, treated with liberal amounts of cooling paste.
The excess cooling paste is ejected when you tightly screw on the cover.
