The number of monitor manufacturers releasing 4K-monitors is on the rise. We recently saw Dell's UltraSharp UP2414Q in our test lab, which we awarded the coveted 'Gold Award'. At the CES conference, Philips has now announced a new UHD-monitor as well, the Brilliant 288P.
The display has a 28-inch diagonal and offers a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. In addition to 10-bit colour depth, Philips claims a 1 millisecond response time for its new monitor, which makes it suited for graphics experts and gamers alike. The Brilliance 288P is also said to offer a plethora of connectivity options, although specifics are yet unknown. The screen has a recommended price of $1199.
