Last year, Acer announce dthe TA272 for the Taiwanese market. The 27" all-in-one stands out because it runs Google's Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, whilst most other all-in-ones are equipped with Windows 8. The TA272 has now been launched in Europe as well.
The display has an AHVA-panel with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and viewing angles of 178° in both directions. It runs on an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, clocked at 1.8 GHz. 2 GB of memory is available, as well as 16 GB of storage capacity. The speed and the operating system will make the device feel like an Android tablet, with the difference that at 27", the system's a bit too large too hold in your hand, and it doesn't have an integrated battery. Instead, the monitor can be tilted in various angles.
The all-in-one tablet has two USB 3.0 ports, a webcam, stereo speakers, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Thanks to two HDMI-ports and a DisplayPort-interface, the all-in-one can have multiple sources attached to it.
Acer's TA272 all-in-one monitor has a recommended price of about $1099.
