Specifications and score of Samsung's 12.2-inch tablet

Samsung will reportedly introduce the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, with model number SM-P905 (with LTE) or SM-P900 (Wi-Fi only) at MWC in Barcelona. The Mobile World Conference takes place between February 24 and 27. The new tablet will be part of a line of high-end devices Samsung will introduce in 2014.

Specifications and benchmarks have now leaked of this SM-P905, which were picked up by SamMobile. The most obvious specification is that Samsung's Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will have a 12.2-inch display. A WXGA-panel with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution is featured, corresponding to a 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, which has four Krait 400 cores, clocked at 2.3 GHz. An Adreno 330 GPU, operating at 450 MHz, provides the tablet's graphics. On the back of the device an 8-megapixel camera is situated, with a 2.1-megapixel camera located on the front. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed. The tablet will have 802.11ac support and has an IR sensor in addition to NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 + LE.

The leaked AnTuTu benchmarks reveal a total score of 34.261 points. This means that the Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is positioned just above the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The final product is said to score over 40.000 points. We'll likely have to wait till the Barcelona Mobile World Conference for more details and the exact performance of Samsung's new high-end tablet.
