In Win launches chassis made of glass and aluminium

By , source: In Win

In Win has introduced a very special chassis, the Tòu. The name is Mandarin for transparent, which immediately reveals the key design aspect of the enclosure. The Tòu is made of hardened (security) glass with a 3 mm thickness. The panels have a special coating that gives them a mirror-like appearance when the system is turned off and turns them transparent when it's active. The glass panels are held together by an aluminium construction and mesh. The aluminium used for the enclosure has been sand casted.

The case comes with a special badge which displays its serial number and gives it a personal touch. In Win's Tòu has dimensions of 585 x 258 x 645 mm and is compatible with Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX and ATX motherboards. Up to four 120 mm fans and a 360 mm radiator can be installed. Room for a single 5.25" device, three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch devices is available in the case. The front panel contains two USB 3.0 connectors, as well as the standard analog audio jacks. Touch-sensitive buttons are used to turn on the system, regulate fan speed and dim the lights.

Unfortunately, In Win hasn't yet detailed pricing and availability of its new Tòu chassis.
