Samsung has announced a new monitor. The creation is called S27C59H and, as the name suggests, has a screen diagonal of 27-inch. It has slim bezels which should make it more suited for multi-monitor setups. The panel is of the AD-PLS type and has LED-backlighting and a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels.
Samsung claims viewing angles of 178 degrees in both directions, as well as a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m². A static contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a gray-to-gray response time of 5 milliseconds have been specified for the new monitor. Video inputs include HDMI and D-Sub. An audio output can also be found on the screen.
It's still unknown when Samsung's S27C590H will be released, and at which price.
