After the unveiling of the new Xbox One console, gamers criticized Microsoft for apparently having shifted their focus to "entertainment" features, instead of offering the best gaming experience. It turns out that gamers are all but forgotten, as Microsoft has invested more than ever to develop games for the Xbox One. The software giant has invested roughly $1 billion USD in new game titles, resulting in no less than fifteen Xbox One exclusives set to release this year. Of these fifteen games, eight are brand new IPs. Microsoft has opened various development studios in London, Washington and Victoria, British-Columbia these recent years.
For now, only Forza Motorsport 5, Quantum Break, Halo 5 and Ryse have been confirmed as Xbox One exclusive. The remainder of the fifteen will be unveiled at the E3 conference, where Microsoft's presentation will be focusing much more on gamers.
