Hardware.Info UK Awards 2012: vote and win prizes!

At the end of each year of reviewing products and on occasion rewarding these with a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award, Hardware.Info traditionally gives its readers the opportunity to provide their opinion and perspective, through the Hardware.Info Awards. These are voted for by the readers of Hardware.Info and this year is the first year that our UK readers can participate. Read on and vote!

Was 2012 the year of Intel's Ivy Bridge processors, or were you more impressed by AMD's new processors' price-performance ratio? Was it AMD or Nvidia that had the better GPU? What was the best smartphone according to you: Apple's iPhone 5, the Samsung Galaxy S III or one of the many, many Android smartphones that were introduced this year. Only you can answer these and 36 other questions, in the Hardware.Info UK Awards 2012.

Just like in previous years, there is an additional category: 'Best product overall'. There you get to decide which hardware or consumer electronics product is your highlight of 2012.

Round 2

This year is the first year that Hardware.Info UK has its own Awards. No surprises there, as this year marked the launch of Hardware.Info UK. As such, this year's awards are based on nominations submitted by the - for now - larger audience of Hardware.Info. In round 2, also the final round, you can vote on the nominees in the 36 categories. If you have no opinion on one or more questions, just skip that one. It's great if you want to vote in all 36 categories, but we are equally happy to receive your vote in just one of them.

You can vote for the Hardware.Info UK Awards until Monday, 3 December 2012. The winners will be announced shortly thereafter.

Win prizes!

Last but not least, we will randomly pick two participants that voted in the 2012 Hardware.Info Awards. The two winners will be informed by 21 December 2012. You can win a 1TB Freecom Mobile Drive XXS 3.0, a Shuttle OmniNAS KD20 NAS device, and a Cisco Linksys EA6500 router together with the Cisco Linksys WUMC710 bridge.
