Adata has announced a new line of budget SSDs, called Premier Pro SP600. The solid-state drives will be released in capacities of 32, 64 and 128 GB. All three are 2.5" models with a 9.5 millimetre thickness.
The SSDs feature a JMicron JMF661 controller and 20 nm MLC NAND flash memory chips. The reading and writing speeds are specified at respectively 360 MB/s and 130 MB/s. 4K random read is performed at 40.000 IOPS, while 4K random write does 30.000 IOPS. Both TRIM and NCQ are supported by the drives.
Adata's new SSDs have recommended prices of $49.99 (£31) for the 32 GB model, $69.99 (£43) for the 64 GB version and $99.99 (£62) for the 128 GB top model.
