TP-Link announces new wireless dual-band router

By , source: TP-Link

TP-Link has announced the TL-WDR3600 N600 Concurrent Wireless Dual Band Router. This router should be capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, while the integrated Gigabit LAN connectors should guarantee zero-delay data transfer, TP-Link claims. Additional USB storage devices, digital cameras or printers can be attached to the router using the two USB ports on the back.

The TL-WDR3600 transmits and receives 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connections simultaneously, making it essentially two wireless routers in one. This should allow users to let regular traffic go over the 2.4 GHz band, while bandwidth-intense or latency-sensitive applications can be directed to the 5 GHz. band.

The TL-WDR3600 N600 has a recommended price of € 59.90 (£48).
