Samsung's Series 9 is definitely one of the best-looking Ultrabooks. It's extremely sleek and comes equipped with an excellent 13.3-inch matte PLS display with a resolution of 1600x900. The chassis is made in aluminium which makes the Series 9 both light and sturdy. Today we are taking a closer look at the NP900X3C model. The NP900X3C is aimed at the business segment, as it comes with Windows 8 Pro and TPM security features.
It's not a pure business notebook however, since Intel's vPro technology is absent. The laptop has the standard Intel HM75 chipset, and is equipped with a Realtek Gigabit Ethernet adapter. WiFi is provided by a dual-band Intel Centrino 6235 chip that supports 802.11n networks and Bluetooth 4.0. The keyboard has a good keystroke and the touchpad is nice and large.
The presence of Windows 8 Pro and the TPM chip make it a more business-oriented device, and the Intel Core i5-3371U from the entry-level model has been replace by an Intel Core i7-3517U. This is a 1.9 GHz dual-core processor with HyperThreading and 4 MB cache with a turbo of 3.0 GHz.
