Chenbro SR30169
Chenbro is primarily focused on the business and OEM segment, but this SR30169 chassis is interesting for our readers as well. It's a type of NAS cabinet, in which you can assemble a mini-PC to create your own home server. That's clear from the four hot-swap bays for 3.5-inch disks, hidden behind a cover.
Internally there is a fan duct that leads the air from a 12 cm fan, which is beneath the hard disk cage, to the motherboard. The motherboard has limited space, because right above it a full-size ATX power supply can be installed with a special bracket. The hotswap bays are connected to a PCB on which you can connect an extra fan. Here you can also connect a compatible RAID controller.
{/c:uk}The average price is £73.{/c:uk} It's not a cheap chassis, but it's reasonable for what's a pretty unique and practical product. It's too bad that the USB ports are 2.0.
