The Dell XPS 12 weighs about 1.5 kg, which is pretty heavy for a tablet. For a laptop, it's pretty reasonable. You get a Full HD IPS display, a Samsung PM830 SSD and a good battery life. The entry-level model starts at £999, and the model tested here is available for £1,179.
If you're looking for an Ultrabook with a 256 GB SSD this is an interesting option. The rotating touchscreen is a nice bonus in that case. The low number of connectors is perhaps the main drawback of this convertible, but we can live with the Mini Display Port that's only Full HD compatible. All things considered, the Dell XPS 12 walks away with the Hardware.Info Silver Award.
