Silverstone Fortress FT03T
The most expensive and different chassis in this round-up is the Silverstone Fortress FT03T. This vertically-oriented chassis is characterised by thick aluminium plates that can be removed to gain access to the interior. Like the brand's Raven chassis, the graphics card is mounted vertically, with the air exhaust at the top. Fans at bottom and top provide a natural airflow. On the exterior there is only a slot-in drive, which requires a slimline model. There are two external USB 3.0 ports.
A full-size power supply does fit in this chassis, but it should be a modular one, otherwise it'll be a nightmare trying to keep the cables out of the way. You don't need a very powerful PSU, since there is only room for two 3.5-inch devices and a 2.5-inch disk or SSD. Graphics cards can be up to 31 cm long, and the CPU cooler can reach 17 cm in height.
This case will keep a relatively powerful system cool without too much effort. It is a bit on the loud side, but it stays under 40 dB(A) as long as the fans aren't running on high. This is an excellent choice if you want to build a powerful, high-end yet compact system and don't mind spending a little extra.
